MAJOR PROJECTS
If the projects I've taken on throughout my work with Mill Valley News and the JagWire show one thing, it's the diversity of my interests. I'm fascinated by politics, online media and music alike, and I've enjoyed using journalism to channel my interests into meaningful work.
I reported on my school district's effort to recall a Board of Education member, beginning when allegations against the Board member arose in March 2015 and ending with the recall election in August 2015. In the end, I wrote six stories and one editorial directly about the recall effort, live tweeted the election and wrote six stories about issues and events related to the recall. Though local media also covered the recall, I wrote the most stories and completed the most interviews.

I became co-editor-in-chief of Mill Valley News, Mill Valley High School's student news website, in May 2015. Since then, I created the site's first staff policies, helped create its first staff manual, redesigned its home page, edited most of this year's online content, recognized staff members for their online content and co-wrote a weekly blog about my experience as editor-in-chief.

I started my music blog, "The Music Man," a few weeks after joining Mill Valley News in August 2013. Though I began by just reviewing songs and commenting on the music industry, I later began reviewing and photographing concerts and writing music features as well.
